Born in Tokyo, she received her musical education under the tutelage of Billy Eidi, ultimately graduating from the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo and the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris. She has accrued numerous accolades both domestically and internationally, including first prize at the All Japan Piano Audition, the Claude Kahn Competition in France, and the Osaka International Music Competition.

She has graced the stage with numerous orchestras as a concerto soloist, and has also given recitals both in Japan and abroad, participating in a plethora of international music festivals. Her repertoire encompasses works by J.M. Damase, as well as other composers of French and English origin.

In 2017, she released her debut album, "On the 90th Anniversary of Damase's Birthday," through Sonare Records. Additionally, she collaborates in a duo with harpist Megumi Nakamura under the moniker Mercoledi, and in 2020, the duo released the album "Mercoledi Primo" through King International Records, which was covered by the Yomiuri Shimbun and NHK-FM.

She serves as a presenter on OTTAVA, an internet radio station specializing in classical music. In 2021, she formed the piano duo La Colima with Asako Yoshida and earned second prize at both the Kings Peak International Music Competition and the MAP International Music Competition.
